PROJECT AWARDED – Nelson Dam Removal Project: Water Supply, Riverine Process and Fish Passage Improvement.

Northbank was awarded the Nelson Dam Removal Project: Water Supply, Riverine Process and Fish Passage Improvement Project for the City of Yakima, Washington. This $18M project includes a 3-phase in-water diversion to remove the existing concrete dam and fish ladder on the Lower Naches River. Work includes demolition, cofferdam and dewatering, sheetpile installation, construction of a new irrigation sluiceway, channel construction and landscaping. Onsite work to begin in summer of 2021 and will be complete in February of 2023.
