Oak Street Fish Ladder

DIVERSION DAM FISH LADDER MODIFICATIONS

This project consisted of demolition and removal of an existing reinforced concrete fish ladder and portion of an existing reinforced concrete diversion dam, spillway and headworks. Other work consisted of construction of a new concrete fish ladder, installation of spillway inflatable gates with control structure, slide gates, metal building, electrical and automated trash rake system. The project occurred over a 5-month water window that required Bear Creek to be diverted around the work zone in two phases, while providing fish passage during the entire project.
