Northport Bridge Repair
This project involved the repair of existing bridge anchorages at two piers, removal of an expansion joint gutter system and installation of a new rain water diverter system. Features of work included demolition of lead coated steel, field blasting and coating, high strength epoxy grout placement, steel fabrication, inorganic zinc coatings, spin lock anchor installation, tensioning and grouting, excavation, and concrete placement. Much of the work was performed from temporary access 80 feet above the Columbia River. NCM completed this project only 42 days after contract award in one of the most remote locations in Washington State.
