Our Team

Employees and their experience is what matters most when completing our client’s challenging projects. Our team of seasoned industry veterans and new recruits utilizes each team member’s experience where it is needed most to ensure each and every project goes smoothly, according to plan and all while keeping to our exceedingly high quality standards.

Our team of experienced industry veterans has the expertise to tackle some of the most technically challenging projects. We primarily focus on government related jobs throughout the US as well as bid/build, CM/GC, and design build projects.

SAFETY

At Northbank Civil and Marine, safety is more than a set of rules and policies, just as compliance is only a place to start. Necessary yes, but only a foundation on which a successful program can be built.

Our safety culture is cultivated from the top down, through every level of the company and every employee. From owners to apprentices, it begins with commitment. Commitment to the belief that all incidents are preventable through extensive analysis and planning of the work, ongoing training of employees and all-inclusive empowerment.

We believe that thorough training enhances the ability to identify potential hazards, implement solutions and accomplish the goal of creating an accident free environment. Training requires the dedication of significant time and resources. We invest both, and are proud to say that the dividends are substantial. Training is composed of formal, online, one on one and small group sessions.

Subjects include: 24 hour and Competent Person Fall Protection, Scaffold Competent Person, Confined Space Competent Person, Master Rigger, Rigging and Signalperson, Forklift, Aerial Lift, Crane, OSHA 30, 1st Aid & CPR, Lead, Silica, Laser, Ladders, USACE HECP-NERC-OPSEC, GHS-HazCom, Respiratory Protection and many more.

Team Safety

Employees know that both individually and collectively they are the key to the prevention of accidents. They are given the responsibility and authority to stop anything that they believe to be unsafe, and to report any and all unsafe acts or conditions. Our team members are empowered. We strive to encourage, recognize and reward active participation. On a Northbank project, subcontractors, inspectors and owner representatives are considered a part of our safety team. Commitment, empowerment, knowledge and priority is how we are building a strong and enduring culture. Everyone has a role.

To augment and reinforce the culture, Northbank utilizes a dedicated full-time safety manager as well as project safety supervisors. They serve as resources, educators and advocates.

Northbank is an ISNetworld qualified contractor.
