PROJECT AWARDED – LOWER MONUMENTAL DAM JFF BARGE LOADING DOCK COFFER CELL REPAIR

Northbank was just awarded the Lower Monumental Dam JFF Barge Loading Dock Ceffer Cell Repair project for $650,000.

The work includes demolition of the failing concrete deck of the dock coffer cell, filling the coffer cell with 6” minus rock, drilling and pressure grouting the full depth of the coffer cell, and miscellaneous hand rail replacement. Work will happen in March 2020.


PROJECT AWARDED – HILLS CREEK DAM OIL/WATER SEPARATOR

In January of this year, Northbank was awarded the Hills Creek Dam Oil Water Separator project for $2.1M.

The work includes modification to existing powerhouse and intake tower systems to mitigate oil spills from the oil-filled operating equipment. Modifications include new drainage pumps and controls, sump access modifications, installation of sump oil skimmer, replace oil/water separators and other miscellaneous piping and concrete work. Work is scheduled to start May of 2020 and be completed by the end of the year.


PROJECT AWARDED – Bonneville Dam Powerhouse 2 Oil/Water Separator

In March this year, Northbank Civil and Marine, Inc. was awarded the Bonneville Dam Powerhouse 2 Oil/Water Separator project for $5,943,700.00.

The work consists of the installation of two new oil water separators in the existing ice and trash chute at Bonneville Dam Powerhouse II, installation of piping to the new oil water separators from the head cover pumps for all generating turbines including the fish units on the north end of the powerhouse. Work will start onsite July 2019 and be completed in early 2020.


Project Awarded – Detroit Dam Tainter Gate Rehabilitation

Northbank Civil and Marine, Inc. was recently awarded the Detroit Dam Tainter Gate Rehabilitation project for $13,075,000.

The work consists of the rehabilitation of 6 tainter/spillway gates. This includes structural strengthening the gates, full replacement of the all the gate hoist equipment, replacement of the trunnion bearing systems, and replacing the switchgear, limit switches, lighting and gate control systems. Onsite work will begin in 2019 and are scheduled to complete 3 gates per season (October 15 through January 31 annually) with the project end date in 2022.
